How to check the results
Candidates need to enter their registration and Date of Birth to get the results.
Approximately 1.5 lakh students appeared for the TANCET 2013 test. The exam was conducted on April 6-7.
TANCET is a prerequisite for candidates who want to pursue post graduate courses through Anna university or affiliated colleges.
The exam is conducted 2013 for admissions to various courses which
include Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer
Application (MCA).
While checking results, remember to have important details such as your roll or hall ticket number with you.
It is expected that there may be heavy traffic on the site so students are advised to be patient.

Anna University was established on 4th September 1978 as a unitary
type of University. It offers higher education in Engineering,
Technology and allied Sciences relevant to the current and projected
needs of the society.Besides promoting research and disseminating
knowledge gained therefrom, it fosters cooperation between the academic
and industrial communities.The University was formed by bringing
together and integrating two well-known technical institutions in the
city of Madras.

- Madras Institute of Technology , Chrompet (MIT)(1949) and three Technological Departments of the University of Madras.
- Alagappa College of Technology (ACT)(1944)
- School of Architecture and Planning (SAP)(1957)
- Situated in the southern part of the city of Madras (Chennai), the University's main campus extends over 100 hectares abutting the Adyar River on the north and Raj Bhavan on the south. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet constitutes the second campus of the University which extends over 20 hectares. Both the campuses have a variety of buildings serving the various needs of the University community. A third campus extending over 80 hectares is located at Taramani near the Instronic campus, Adyar. The Bioprocess Laboratory donated by SPIC is located at present in this campus and a few more centers of advanced studies, like National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Sugar Research Institute, Mechatronics Institute, Entreprenuership Development Park, and Convention Centre will also be housed there in future.Since December 2001,it has become a large, highly renowned affiliated University, having brought into its fold about 225 Self-financing Engineering Colleges six Government Colleges and three Government-aided Engineering colleges located in various parts of Tamilnadu State.STATUSThe Anna University ,which is of the affiliated type is a member of the Association of Indian Universities, the Association of Commonwealth Universities and Partner of UNESCO International Center for Engineering Education (UICEE). UGC have accrediated Anna University with Five Star Status in 2002 which is the highest rating. With proven capabilities both in academic and research areas, Anna University was able to receive this honour for a period of five years for excellence in Technical Education.

Anna university Internal Marks for May June 2013 Exam – How to Check in coe1.annauniv.edu.
Students who are studying in the Anna University affliated colleges can view their Internal marks in coe1.annauniv.edu if the internal marks are provided to the Anna University by respective colleges.
You can get the Internal Marks for Arrear Papers is also available if it was provided by respective Colleges.

Anna university internal marks calculation
Anna University internal marks are marks given by your staff based on your performance in unit tests and attendance. For anna university affiliated colleges internal mark is 20. This is same for Chennai Coimbatore trichy tirunelveli Madurai kovai.Anna university has published the Internal marks for May/June 2013 Exam in their portal.
Test performance = 15 Marks and Attendance = 5 Marks
Attendance Mark
- 96% – 100% Attendance = 5 Marks
- 91 – 95% = 4 Marks
- 86 – 90% = 3 Marks
- 81 – 85% = 2 Marks
- 75 – 80% = 1 Marks
How internal marks added to theory mark in anna university :
There is no pass mark for Internal Marks. Pass Mark for Anna University Exam is 50%.You have to get 50% in exam (Theory+practical) and you need in Theory Minimum mark of 45 to pass.
You write Anna Univ exam for 100 marks in that you need to secure minimum of 45 marks. If you get 14 marks in practical you will pass else you will fail.
Example: 100 marks will be converted for 80 marks. ie., 45 will be change to 36. Now 14 marks will be added to it. Now overall and Final Mark is 50. It is Pass Mark.
Example 2: Theory = 50/100 and internal = 8/20
50 converted to 80% = 40. Now Final Mark is 40+8 = 48 (Fail)
